alexfox markdown shall be visual, in the end, when forum shall be released for download.
don't know if they're still working on implementing lepture or they found something else, but
instead of reading all that text take a look here, and you can easily reproduce anything from there
to this forum:

End a line with two or more spaces:

Markdown is not for everyone and I'm sure flarum will include editor. All tags are hard to remember and unless you in the coding industry pretty useless.

Can I use markdown on none flarum apps on my iPhone? Does anyone know any apps that use it? WhatsApp?

Not so much stealing the idea from Reddit, but they have a formatting guide on their New Post and New Comment dialogues. I think that's something that could be added as an extension, but ideally being markdown is a core functionality, I think some minor documentation would be nice.

Thank god I'm finally getting away from that pseudo-HTML BBCode garbage though.

Berlyn but there won't be any need for formatting guide once visual editor is integrated.
it's only strange that it takes so long to implement it???
but final version should be available with it, i guess.

ameo Oh I am actually surprised to hear that a visual editor will be implemented. I wasn't aware of this, which basically makes the need for documentation redundant. Haha.
