Zoom images on click

I was wondering if anybody knows of an extensions / hack to allow users to zoom into an embedded image by clicking on it. Seems like a pretty basic feature, but I wasn't able to find anything.

There is at least a hack for those who write a post:

In the case of the upload extension: Here one has to upload an image and then edit the post to add the link with the same URL. Change:

[upl-image-preview url=https://...-screen.png]

... to:

[[upl-image-preview url=https://...-screen.png]](https://...-screen.png)

That seems to be it! Unfortunately it doesn't work on my beta14 forum (or I am using it wrong), hopefully it will get updated.

I don't recommend editing core files like PipsJoker suggested in his post, but he shows how it could be done. Now we just need someone who extends the upload extension or submits a pull request.

Pollux Thanks, fof/formatting's autoimage feature also produces that result if you just paste in the link without Markdown, which is neat.

I guess it would be possible. But one would have to extend the upload extension or make a pull request.
