Need help in using pusher with Flarum

Csineneo The problem still persists for me. It sees the connections but doesn't send the messages. I tried setting the cluster and without.

Exactly only the notifications under the bell are working.

By messages you are referring to the yellow bar that appears over the discussion list to note X new topics? Just making sure.

VIRUXE What do you mean leave cluster blank? If it's there it should be used?

jordanjay29 that's one. Also, if you're in a thread, like this one, and people post, the messages don't update automatically, you need to refresh. ( Chat mode )

Yellow bar, page title updating and discussion updates on the fly when still viewing a discussion.

Csineneo Not sure how critical that is, but you should probably select "PHP" for the back-end tech (question 3)...

Csineneo When I don't set the cluster, it will give me errors in the js console.

Pusher : Error : {"type":"WebSocketError","error":{"type":"PusherError","data":{"code":4001,"message":"Could not find app by key xxx. Perhaps you're connecting to the wrong cluster."}}}

Franz i'm under the impression it's soleley for their statistics and has no effect on their services at all.

Franz luceos those are just to show some examples afterwards. Last time I created an app there the interface didn't ask for that.

Kakifrucht the pusher dashboard mentions what cluster you have to enter:

mt1 (us-east-1)
eu (eu-west-1)
ap1 (ap-southeast-1)

There are several others, but you can simply use their values in the settings modal in your extensions tab.

luceos yeah, setting the cluster removes the error, but it won't work as others have stated in the thread. Connections appear, but no messages are being sent from the dashboard.
