I dont think that extension works on synopsis. I just need something similar for synopsis instead of 3 dots ... And not on anything else.

Although the first post is modified, it seems that the summary will not be updated, even after I clear the cache?

You can see that the backslash is not included in the first post, but it is included in the summary.

luceos Hi, sorry for the questions, everything works, great. This was a problem due to some of my own css, as a theme.

The only thing that's left is:

1/ logged out user - default state show synopsis - how can I achieve this?

2/ logged in user, both settings are on, how can I force this?

2.1/ how can I hide the settings from the profile page?

This is a great extension, but for my needs I need to make it a default thing, not something someone can turn on/off.

That is currently not an option. Something like that needs to be added. I also, personally, think that this would increase the complexity of the extension quite a bit, perhaps forking or creating an additional extension to mutate the synopsis logic would be better.

The excerpt behavior in Synopsis (and my old Summaries ext) is just borrowed from Flarum/Sticky with some extra logic on top. So reverting the extra logic can be as simple as going back to this original behavior in a new extension.
