Before MariaDB 10.2.1, BLOB and TEXT columns could not be assigned a DEFAULT value. This restriction was lifted in MariaDB 10.2.1.

Upgrade to 10.2.1 or higher and it should work.

To @everyone here, what metrics would you like to be supported for trust levels? I want to avoid adding too many to start as that can result in a clunky display, but what do you find important in deciding whether to automatically grant privileges to users?

For me number of posts, number of discussions and likes will be the most useful basic metrics. I think number of read posts can also be quite interesting!

askvortsov For me the number of likes received is the best metric. Since this metric isn't available, number of posts and number of discussions started are also good.

But I like the other ones as well, I think the part about a data collection extension is also extremely interesting because other extensions could feed from it as well.
