I would actually be really interested in this as a standalone. I keep going back and forth on if I want to use the blog extension. Still deciding where I want to go with my flarum, but this idea would give me a happy middle ground.

It definitely can be done either as part of Blog or independently, and shouldn't be too challenging (I suggested Blog because those discussions come with thumbnail images). Just a matter of someone developing it.

ekrm To clarify, there are no plans to include something like this in core, someone would need to make it as a community extension.
