MikeJones askvortsov Could be a cool addition to the blog extension. I would actually be really interested in this as a standalone. I keep going back and forth on if I want to use the blog extension. Still deciding where I want to go with my flarum, but this idea would give me a happy middle ground.

Just a matter of someone developing it.

askvortsov ekrm To clarify, there are no plans to include something like this in core, someone would need to make it as a community extension.
JasperVriends ekrm This is indeed something that will be added to the Blog extension (there's already an issue about that as mentioned earlier). It's a matter of time before we add it, because I really like the idea too 😃
MikeJones JasperVriends Is it possible to add without the entire blog section. Like only turn on the highlights? I think it would be cool for a flarum owner to pick good discussions to highlight or promote.
JasperVriends MikeJones I think a switch between "recent blog posts" and "recent highlighted posts" would do the trick 🙂 I'll keep that in mind
