Justoverclock That's indeed not yet available. But it will in a future version
JasperVriends good! I also notice that this extension is hidden on mobile, there's a specific reason?
Justoverclock What part is hidden?

JasperVriends how can i see badges on user? (on mobile)
Justoverclock ehh when you go to the user profile, you can click the Posts
button on top and select Badges
JasperVriends done, it was too hidden, need a badge page XD
Very well done. I decided to use this to award a badge to my forum’s first users as a very small way to say thank you for taking to time to join a brand new community.
I hope that you will find time to add automatic awarding like the other achievements extension that someone recently released.
It was hard to decide which extension to use. I ultimately went with this one because it has a dedicated page and I wasn’t sure if I wanted badges showing on every post like the other extension.
But, another suggestion would be to at least show the badge icons in the user information pop up. So, each user has the badges page, then if you hover over someone’s avatar their information pops up with their 5 to 10 most recently awarded badges.
010101 Thanks for your feedback! We have a lot of ideas and a lot of cool features will come in the near future. Make sure if you have suggestions, to add them to the issue list
I personally was thinking of showing badges next to the username, which can be collapsed when a user has multiple badges. Also, some kind of 'priority' list would be cool, only showing the most important/corresponding badges for specific topics, depending on their tags/topic.
About the automatic badge handling, I am not sure if that will be implemented in this extension, I think a more generic extension one would fit better. Otherwise you'll have a lot of 'automatic handout extensions' which do the same, but can't all do the same. That would be a shame of the potential power such extension can have. I think the Trust Levels extension is a perfect example of a good extension that manages stuff for other extensions. A more centralised extension. I am thinking about doing a PR to this extension so it will also support handing out badges (but I'll need to discuss this first of course).
010101 and I wasn’t sure if I wanted badges showing on every post like the other extension
I agree, in my opinion it is a bit messy
JasperVriends Okay, I like those ideas. I don’t think I’ll add anything to the issues since what you have in mind sounds good.

I have the exact same thoughts. I don't see much point in every single extension building their own logic to capture these metrics to handle events based off. That particular extension is very powerful in that regard, and the metrics and event logic it has available to it would be applicable to many other extensions. It would be great for it to be a centralized extension that can be extended and hooked into by others for metrics/events.

This is on the roadmap, but my backlog is quite large with core stuff and school.
JasperVriends Thanks for this nice extension! it installed without problems!
For those that are still using flarum beta 15, a good stable version, use
composer require v17development/flarum-user-badges:^0.1.1
