I can't type Chinese in beta.16

After updating to beta.16, when I switch to the Chinese input method, I cannot input text normally. Can anyone help me? thank you.

In addition, this seems to only have this problem on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge Chrome. There is no problem on Desktop Safari and iOS's browsers.

ryanwang Can you double check that this issue appears on https://nightly.flarum.site ? That will help us figure out if this is a community extension or the core itself causing the issue.

Looks like it's a Mac system issue?

Littlegolden It could also be a problem with the system, but I didn't have such a problem in beta.15. Maybe it was caused somewhere in beta.16?

On windows, https://nightly.flarum.site/ and https://jahudka.github.io/mdarea/ both work fine. This problem may only occur on macOS.

So essentially, this is caused by the library we use to make markdown editing easier by auto-continuing lists, indentation, etc. We'll report this under that library, and publish a patch release when its fixed. We might also publish a patch release in between that adds a setting to disable this editor improvement, as a temporary workaround until this gets fixed upstream. We'll keep you updated in this thread.
