So essentially, this is caused by the library we use to make markdown editing easier by auto-continuing lists, indentation, etc. We'll report this under that library, and publish a patch release when its fixed. We might also publish a patch release in between that adds a setting to disable this editor improvement, as a temporary workaround until this gets fixed upstream. We'll keep you updated in this thread.
