Do discussions/post in "Test Posting" tag not trigger notifications on purpose?

I am testing my API package (still in development) here on discuss. It listens to mentions and checks them against /api/notifications. Both on the bot and my account, the notification doesn't seem to arrive. As if all notifications are muted in the sandbox tag. It works normally on FreeFlarum's beta forum, so it's not a bug in my code.

Is this done on purpose to prevent people from being spammed because a lot of people often reply to existing discussions, so there is no point in notifying them since it's just a testing tag for worthless posts?

Not completely sure, maybe this could have something to do with "Test Posting" being hidden from the "All Discussions" page?

I was thinking that maybe that's the reason, but why would it block notifications?

Also, the notifications seem to be just instantly cleared from the database. For example, when I like a post from my bot account and I am logged into my main account, when I don't reload the page I can see the notification counter go up. But when I reload the page, the notification is gone (or when I simply click on the bell to load the notifications - there's nothing there). Therefore I think that it was done by purpose. Pusher picks the notification, which is removed from database right after - that's why the counter goes up, but there is no notification

Justoverclock go to the tags admin page and edit that tag. Check the "hide from all discussions" box
