Flarum Achievements, reward your users for participating

malago Yes, I tried to check each one and both with the same result.
I've got something new for you :

when I try to see if it works, I open the url of the site, I open a subject, I check a profile : nothing
when I go first into the achievements page and I navigate then to a subject (without reloading the site) : it works ! If I reload the subject with the url, it doesn't work anymore.
Looks like something doesn't explicitly load ?

sylv38 shebaoting There is definitely something wrong with the user card's list of achievements. It is an issue I have to resolve and I don't understand why sometimes it shows it right and sometimes won't. For now, disable this option 🙁 The achievement list under the posts should not be affected by this.

czayorijinal the point calculation part is wrong

This seems to be an interaction with other extensions and I am not quite sure why. Point calculation works fine for me on my Flarum instances, both with no extensions and with many extensions. I will try a solution on the next version for this, but if you have any idea about what extension can be causing this, let me know!

I will keep you guys updated when I figure out how to fix the issue with the User Card!

There are two errors.
1, only users who have the badge can see the badge. Other users cannot see badges.
2, Users who have badges will see that everyone else has the same badge as they do. In fact, in the database, only you have a badge and no one else has a badge.

malago The plugin works fine, but the point calculation part is wrong, let's say the user has 3 badges, the points are 20, 30, respectively, but the total score is 02030.

I'm also looking forward to fixing this soon.
If possible, I hope to use it in combination with Auto Moderator. That would be great.

This extension often has problems.
The current problem encountered is that the badge disappears for some users.

shebaoting Can you specify what is the achievement type that disappears? Have you detected when it happens?

After the upgrade a few days ago, the error does not exist anymore. But today the error happened again. It's that someone's badge disappeared.

I replied in a closed issue on Github. We stumbled onto the same issue again but now have some more info on how to actually recreate it.

An implementation suggestion would be to inform the users who commented the most, the users who received the most "correct answers", and the post with the most comments.

So glad the issue with endless 'New Achievement' popups has been fixed, thank you! 😀

We're now unfortunately encountering a new issue with the 'Achievements' page where users can see an overview of their earned achievements (at the top, in colour) and achievements they have not yet earned (below, greyed out). This worked just fine before the fixing of the issue above.

Since updating, the page seems to be suddenly unable to index the achievements/points users have earned. It shows all achievements as greyed out and 0 earned points to all users, including those who have actually earned achievements.
