TranslaCloud Hello I really love this project.. sadly I can't use composer on my current webhost. I was wondering if there is a solution to use Flarum sotware on non-composer services
meetdilip I don't think there is on available for now. Though it is planned in beta 6 which may be available in 10 -15 days time. An alternative could be installing in local host and copying the files. I am not sure how good that method is though.
basdv98 meetdilip An alternative could be installing in local host and copying the files. I am not sure how good that method is though. That method worked perfectly for me before, I recommend you to use this.
Davis meetdilip it'll probably be longer then 10-15 days and I'd avoid giving out dates unless you really know what work there is to be done.
meetdilip Davis I was simply relying on " next beta within 6 weeks " promise in beta 5 announcement thread. Thought it is still valid.
jordanjay29 meetdilip Toby's under the crunch at university, so it's probably going to be delayed. Sorry.
jordanjay29 meetdilip It's okay, he didn't even have time to make a note about it at the forums. Toby usually devotes what time he has to working on Flarum and leaves talking about it to the rest of us.
Infinitycr4k3r @TranslaCloud Try my method and it'll work....Only requirements is php 5.5+ and mysql 5.5+.....! https://discuss.flarum.org/d/2675-tutorial-to-install-flarum-on-shared-hosting See it yourself and do like the video if it helps ( I am sure it will)...
TranslaCloud Infinitycr4k3r I will give a try ? I am currently uploading the files on my web-host space
