Any chance to get into the beta signup? (says full)
I want to start my forum, already seen all the other options, discourse, nodebb, etc - I want YOURS!
The reason I want hosted is because you will manage the upgrade.
Please invite ?
SpookyFairy If it's full, then it's full. Nothing to do about that except wait.
Wow! We've filled our quota for the week. Please try back in a few days. Thank you!
This is revolutionarily magical. ?
Our beta hosting service has been discontinued indefinitely due to personal reasons. We didn't intend to reach such a premature conclusion with the project, but felt it was in the best interest of Flarum to put hosting on hold for a while.
For anyone looking to get their data, you can email us at flarumhosting@gmail.com and we'll attach your avatars and database in a reply. We apologize for the abrupt disconnect, and will help with making sure you can transition to your own hosting vps/dedi/shared if you would like to continue trying out Flarum while it's in beta.
I'd like to differentiate between the beta hosting and a stable hosting platform. We feel it's best to make Flarum stable first and foremost. Providing a hosting solution is still high on the list, but comes second to high-quality code, and that requires our star developer to focus on just this and not get bogged down with extras.
We received a lot of feedback on what people want and expect out of a quality hosting platform and Flarum software through this process, and would like to thank you all for helping us learn through the short time this Beta hosting trial was offered.
Again, our apologies for the abrupt ending.

Tuning of PHP and MySQL depends on your hardware setup. It wouldn't be applicable from one system to the next.
We had, for instance, 30 PHP-FPM children on a 6 core hyperthreaded xeon. I found 2.5 processes per thread to be optimal. How this translates to a single vcore vps? It probably doesn't. The server also had 36GB of ram, so we could have a very large shared cache with MySQL. I even tuned Opcache to use up to 1GB, though it never reached over ~400MB.
Not good news that the hosting service is being taken down, but considering the circumstances it would only be wise. Thank you for your hard work of course @webeindustry and hopefully this project can go live again soon after the first stable release.
Wow that is indeed abrupt. Is that why my website, one hosted with you, went offline randomly? I'll have to setup a new hosting solution...
We're not hosting websites, we're hosting forums. If you were hosting a forum with us, they are wiped as mentioned above. Shoot us an email and we'll get you your database + avatars.
webeindustry That's what I meant, right, and okay.
I'm curious. When you say personal reasons, do you actually mean personal reasons or relationships with Flarum in general?
Prosperous Basically my own lack of time to be doing this alongside continued Flarum development.
Will Flarum hosted service be run earlier than non-hosted version?

That's not happening. Toby is a 4th year med student and has to put in time as he can for Flarum development. It'll work out in the long run. This project means a lot to many of us. It's not going to die out until people decide to stop finding interest in it, and hopefully we're many years off from that.
We have been growing these last few months at a rate of 100+ new users per week. What would help out is if the growing community could find way for some more developers to help out with the issues so we can bring Flarum into a stable state sooner.
webeindustry To add to that, if you know how to fix an issue on Github (check the Good for New Contributors label for some starters), feel free to submit a pull request!
Toby Completely understandable and we appreciate the time you do put into development. Take your time and keep up the great work Toby. No rush. Rome wasn't built in a day.
