I created this extension just to practice with js, i've tried to implement Codemirror for code highlight without success, so if anyone find this extension useful, is available on github, and is also compatible with 1.0

A Flarum extension. Add a real time Html editor page to Flarum

Installation

Install with composer:

composer require justoverclock/flarum-ext-realtimecode

Updating

composer update justoverclock/flarum-ext-realtimecode
php flarum cache:clear

finnally i'm about to fix codemirror (i have some problem but i think this will be fixed soon)

EDIT: Fixed, now i will improve this code editor to be more professional:

Textarea replaced with a CodeMirror Editor

Fixes:

Remove unused dependencies
Removed unused import

ToDo:

Add a "copy all" button for textarea
Add admin settings to choose Codemirror theme
Find a better way to display output code

Braden yes and this kind of extension actually are dangerous. Someone could inject code through it. So i prefer to use jfiddle or codepen

Yes, I already solved it! I just coded the en.yml file in BOM, after that it was no longer possible 😂!

Will you consider making an extension that allows users to inset HTML tags in the discussion text editor and render them in the discussion pages?
