Mirzaagha I didn't understand what you meant. This extension does not belong to me. The code I provided was also not related to this extension.

Add this code to the extend.php file in your forum directory. Change the user group and the discussion id.

This code does not require any extensions to work. I tested it again, and it works flawlessly.

Since this discussion is related to the Auto Moderator extension, I don't want to write here any further and disturb the extension developer.

Yeah I'm confused as well... What's happening with this?

I installed the User Badge extension which told me to install this so I can automatically apply badges upon a new user registration for an example. I add "user confirms email" for a requirement then have the actions as "add badge, add to group"

and nothing happens?

All these forks and people saying stuff is hard to follow.

What works and what doesn't?

so i turned on auto mod made some criteria and it wont work what it was is I set it so that if a person has 5 moderator warnings or strikes it should suspend the user for 2 days well I activated it it said criteria available and then went on my forum went to a test account an award it 5 strikes then I refreshed and the user wasn’t suspended Why was that they were not in any groups preventing them from being suspended

yes I already asked Kevin for help he said he cant help me

Mirzaagha now it's called automod, but I can't find where to discuss about it, and by the way I have problem installing the so-called new automod version. Composer suggested me to switch to it because it thought auto moderator version is abandoned.

Is there anywhere I can download the auto moderator extension? I have been looking for it, but all the links I found do not work. I am trying to download it so it could work with the user badge extension.

            thanks!

clarkwinkelmann I think the extension was mistakenly marked abandoned with a successor that hasn't been published yet. This might have been caused by a rename action of the repository. Not sure though.

Hey all, sorry about the confusion on this. I had started work on a replacement for this extension that has a simpler model (when X, if Y, do Z), and prematurely marked the existing extension as deprecated. I haven't since had time to work on the replacement, and suspect I won't in the near future. I've removed the deprecated warning for the existing extension for now, it should continue to work fine for 1.x. Sorry for the confusion!

it simply says no matches found.
e.g: zsh: no matches found: askvortsov/flarum-automod:*
