unable install the stable release!!! Ubuntu/XAMPP

Thank you for the stable release.
Flarum beta 16 works just fine for me but I can't install the stable release for unkown reasons.
by the way I'm not trying to upgrade it's a fresh installation.

I'm using the latest version of XAMPP , ubuntu 20.04 on my local computer.
any Suggestion?.

Buffer you need to install mysql-client and have that available to your host operating system.

Probably sudo apt install mysql-client will do the trick

edev katos thank you guys for helping me out. i know how to do the steps on windows and mac but i have no idea how to do this on ubuntu. i tried to read ubuntu docs Environment Vaiables now im confused.

For the sake of helping others i found a temporarily solution for this bug i will use this untill the developers release a patch for this bug.

You can install it with php flarum install inside your flarum root directory it will do the trick, just make sure your DB/Server informations is correct.

IanM i really appreciate your help, i got another error when i did that.

i thought xampp has everything i might need to code.
