Justoverclock Any thoughts on what I said? That the new regex could conflict with more things?

I'm having to look into how to fork and make my own version now. 😢 I don't like the new version. Which happens, not everyone is going to like all updates. But, I really want to keep the previous version going.

Justoverclock hehe, yeah but you don’t want it to work with a URL. You want it to ignore URLs. I tested it at regex101. See above. You don’t think that’s going to cause issues if this extension sees a URL with a hashtag in it? Won’t it conflict with the URL?

Maybe not, but seems like it could. 🤷‍♂️

Justoverclock No worries. I decided to just create my own version. This way I can customize it however works best for my forums and I don’t need to bug you anymore or worry about something changing. Feel free to keep the regex as-is if it works better for the majority.

murdocklawless Sometimes for various reasons composer has a hard time updating extensions. Try composer require instead of composer update.
