JuliusBajaj I don't really like updating software/scripts after installation! because of some tweaks I could make
Please understand that the Flarum team feels the same way you do here.
We never want anyone's Flarum site to break because we released an update. Our goal with 1.0 is that the API (the backbone of Flarum code, and where any major changes would interact) will stay backwards compatible until 2.0. There might be some additions to it, or fixes if we find problems, but any changes you make to Flarum 1.0 sites should remain regardless of any updates to 1.0.
Just to give you some peace of mind there, any Flarum versions from 1.0 to 1.9999999 should work with any changes you make today. With Flarum 2.0, there may be things we break then, but we won't do that for 1.x. Install any of the updates with confidence, especially security updates.
