About limit post in thread

Hello,

Have limit post per thread in Flarum?
in other system forum when a thread have a lot of replies go to close and the OP need to create new thread.
I think they do it because of the high consumption of resources.

In flarum have this problems with large threads?
And have the possibility in the admin to limit the replies per thread?

No it does not have the same dramatic effect on performance. There's still a slight performance drop, but it is hard to notice. Eg: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/187-word-association-game

That option does not exist, but an extension could take care of that (auto locking on N posts for instance).

In other big forums the limit per thread is about 2.000 posts to auto locking
