Link Preview Extension for Flarum

Thanks to @Justoverclock for the idea!

HELP WANTED: The extension currently needs a token from a third party website and that service has limitations unless you pay for it. I am sure there is a way to do a small API point to do this within Flarum without having to rely on an external service. I could not find a way to do this myself but I am sure someone can help with this. If you want to collaborate, please contact me or feel free to fork the extension!

Features

Adds a card for links showing the title, description and icon.
It needs a token from www.linkpreview.net

Installation

composer require malago/flarum-linkpreview

Updating

composer update malago/flarum-linkpreview
php flarum cache:clear

Usage

Enable the extension.

malago Thanks for such a great extension can you please add an option to ignore some links like in bbcode we type (https://link ignore)
Link Preview Api key is also public in the html source. ( Please hide it )

This is the cheapest service that I’ve found during my test, but as malago says, with some help we can finally have a link preview for Flarum 🙂

it's a pity that need have to use a limited external api.

PS1: In Xenforo view that have a option in admin panel to activate this option and open in in external page. Thats is good.

Enabled the extension and put the API. But the links are same as before. Doesn't show any preview.
Is there anything more I should do ?

Help! I have it installed but there is no place to input the api token? Where should I input the api token?
