Flarum GUI Image and Link

This simple extension allows you to add Image and Link without typing markdown code. It will show a pop-up in which you have to enter Title and URL and Click OK and you are done.

really love this extension, if u want to look this more professional can i suggest u to use the built in modal component? and also you could really push the boat out here and add same functions to images and quotes.

    I have not been able to try it yet, but I think link and images working. Review the text in op when said: "This simple extension allows you to add Image and Link without typing markdown code."

    About add quotes with show pop-up in my case I think is not necessary because markdown only add ">" to text and the user I think not have any problems to add text after ">" mark to view a good quote.

    In the other case (links and image) there is more difficult to working directly in markdown for amateurs and no technical users. See this post where the problem is detailed

    But all the updates he do on the extension are sure to be good !! 😀

      What I ment was, that it should be in core already.

              1Dot I think, he said only that this good popup system should be directly implemented in the flarum core and no with extension.

                I highly doubt they will add anything to the core.

                The buttons you talk about are part of the bundled markdown extension. Our goal with those bundled extensions isn't to be completely feature complete, but to provide an entrypoint for use and give practical educational resources for developers to extend upon.

                Remember that the Flarum team is small, the larger the codebase under their responsibility the bigger the burden. This causes development on Flarum to disperse its focus from enabling developers to build awesome extensions to maintaining extensions.

                Regardless of the above, any Pull Request that adds value to a bundled extension (similarly to core) will obviously be reviewed and merged if acceptable.

                        But one problem... In mobile browser (Chrome) not working the popup only in PC browser.

                        1- To view more "professional" if is possible change the popup-desing...more in line with the flarum style and a little more small 😅
                        2- I view in the admin panel that your installation go in the Themes section and not with other extension. This is correct?
                        3- And view in the admin that not have any "uninstall" button, how do have others extension.
                        I have always understood that for a correct uninstallation of any extension, it would be deactivate in the panel, then uninstall with button in the same panel and then run /composer remove

                                    Sorry, it´s my fault. Clean cache, disable extension and now, yes view the unistall button.

                                    Re-review now in mobile and and PC and yes working in both but.... in mobile popup goes completely off screen.
                                    But I have view that the link and image icon are duplicated in the markdown bar. Stay the original and then yours. 😅
