Wedges and pages get cancelled one pressed into background

Had anyone pointed out the inconvenience that every time we accidentally press into the background (or beyond the margin), the page or wedge that we were editing will just disappear and all edit will be cancelled?

Is there an extension or update trying to solve this?

ParlorPink whenever you click outside of the composer it will get minified, both on desktop and mobile. Changes are only removed when refreshing the page or clicking the close icon or when there are no changes/content.

At least that how it is supposed to work.

luceos yeah, I understand the composer. There are however, settings pages in admin, for example the Edit custom header page, that will clear all editing if we press beyond the page boundary. Similar with many other extension's admin setting page.

I experienced similar dissapearing of pop ups on PC in Linux in Chrome.

Open say user name edit popup
Move mouse over old name
Click mouse button down to select old name
Move mouse over name to select it all and move till mouse is out of popup window
Step 4 is easy to do as borders usually are very slim
Release mouse button

Expected behavior:

name is selected

Actual behavior:

pop up window disappeared

This is quite frustrating experience some times.
