Am in the process of upgrading to core v 1.0 from 0.1.0

I appears to me, when using "*", to all extension in composer.json and leaving "flarum/core": "^ 1.0",
using composer require flarum/core --update-with-all-dependencies
it wont update until the extensions are all removed? since the 0.1.0-beta15 extensions conflicts with the root composer.json require (^ 1.0).

How did you guys upgrade?

This installation was successfully following Luceos and 1Dot tutorial. 1Dot is commonly known as RameshDada, some sort of a genius!

Braden you can use the https://extiverse.com/helper or you can try to figure out which extensions have been replaced/abandoned by running composer why-not flarum/core v1.0.4

But yes a generic first step is to remove everything that no longer is compatible. The helper actually can interactively list those that aren't compatible and remove them if you want.

Braden what you need to do is change all extensions to requiring * (for example "fof/analytics": "*",) as a version. And flarum/core needs to be set to ^1.0. Then we can easily check what plugins are not compatible and need to be removed or replaced.

Replace your composer json with the old one and also remove extensions that I said in my previous post.

Run composer update -W
Replace your composer json with new one and then run update again
Go to your flarum instance and enter database password!
