Questions for mail notifications and search parameters not getting removed

1.) When I click a link from a mail notification, the forum still shows an unread notification (bell in header). This shouldnt happen since I just clicked/read that specific post/reply

2.) When searching for an item, it's impossible to use the sidebar links without filtering that search term. Even clicking on "All Discussions" leads to something like 'https://discuss.flarum.org/?q=notifications'

phloo I think (2) is intended behavior, but I agree it's sometimes a bit confusing.

You can clear the search with the cross in the search input before resuming normal navigation.

Thanks for the reply, Clark. I dont think its helpful to overwrite links with a query string.
First: the user already searched for the term. Why would anyone use the sidebar links to filter posts without asking the user if s/he wants to filter the overviews? This should be an optional feature not a default one.

And 1) is something really annoying. Wondering why no one has adressed this yet.
