@davwheat Could it be possibile to create a new zone in order to split the "between posts" into desktop and mobile view? It could be useful for non-responsive ads, in order to serve, for example, square ads on mobile and leaderboards on desktop. That would save adding a rule to the adserver and checking for useragent or resolution.

nhiaayenge since it's been a few days and you have not gotten a response, I think we can assume that none of the regular Flarum contributors know.

I suggest either waiting a few weeks for others to give their opinion, tracking the owner of a forum that uses this extension with Adsense and contact the them directly to learn their experience, or try for yourself and see how the extension works and whether it would meet the Adsense requirements. If needed, pay a developer to investigate for you.

Does adsense provide any tool like placeholder ads or visit bots to check the implementation? This would be the simplest solution, just deploy with test mode and get any feedback directly from the ads platform.

Regarding the thread to which you refer... I think it has lost its relevance. Some time ago I studied this topic. I was interested in the question of whether it is possible to use Adsense on SPA, and whether it is possible to reload ads that were not filled in. I found the answers. You can.

Currently, I have developed a web component for displaying Adsense ads and modified this plugin “dawheat Ad Units” by replacing the typescript code in the front-end part of the plugin with my own. This is a web component that controls its own size and the state of the ad unit (filled or unfilled). If the state is unfilled and the ad has not loaded, the component retries to load the ad after a specified timeout. If the user resizes the window and the ad size has changed, the component will reload the ad so that the design does not break (because the adSense does not do this itself). The component can also reload ads on the page after a certain period of time (for example, every 15 minutes). I also optimized the loading of AdSense so as not to block the loading of critical page resources, this is to improve the LCP metric. But I am still playing with this optimization, combining it with the lazy-markup component.
