Both are the same problem which varies depending on the browser

aravinth if you want to move you can do it using this Move Extention. first, create a new discussion and using author-date change extension change the discussion and first post date to an earlier date then move all posts into a newly created discussion and move them back to the old discussion.
Read the move Extention readme file to know how it works.

no worries you can select 40 posts and move. we are still testing this extension, it was designed to handle such scenarios.
Do not move the first post.

aravinth there could be many reasons since i am not into coding i don't know how to troubleshoot that so what I recommend is to try testing using move extension, it could reorder all posts.
if something goes wrong you can soft delete all those 40 posts and re-create them in different discussion and move them to the buggy discussion.
but first, try moving back and forth that can fix.
before doing all these you can also try disabling all extensions + clear cache and check if any other extension is creating conflicts

aravinth you can create and soft delete the discussion and move posts back and forth no one will know about it. the soft delete discussion option will be beside the reply button.
I've not tested move extension with discussions created using boybu
in this case, create two new private discussions and make few dummy posts and testing moving posts between them. if that works you can try with your original discussion.
try to make create dummy post but it move normal discussion...

you have already created two private discussions and tried to move posts to another private discussion?
aravinth i do not think that is possible, because in the move extension you need to give the discussion number. let's switch to discord. you still have my discord id right?
