floyer I have just tried to install flarum, but in the public directory, I don’t find any admin folder. Then the Administration option of Flarum gives me a 404 error result.
clarkwinkelmann floyer make sure URL rewriting is working for your webserver https://docs.flarum.org/install#url-rewriting The folder doesn't exist on disk, all pages are handled through index.php
lichengkun135 clarkwinkelmann Hi, if I want to try installing on my ubuntu PC first, what should I do if I encounter this "no admin folder" issue? Thanks in advance!
clarkwinkelmann lichengkun135 I don't think I can add anything from my earlier post. The folder doesn't exist on disk, it's handled by index.php. So make sure the htaccess and rewrite module are enabled for Apache or that the correct config is used for nginx.
