I'm looking into broader solutions to work in conjunction with our current mod team and some of the custom coding luceos has cooked up for us. I want to get us to a place where spammers become an issue easy enough to ignore, and spamming a tag that is commonly subscribed to (with emails) is definitely not getting us there.
For now, I'll let you know that the Meta tag is open for anyone to post in while the Blog tag (under Meta) is only for our team to post new discussions in. So if you wanted to make sure you're only getting curated news about new versions, you could also switch your subscription to the Blog tag for now.
