Hi, I need to run a WordPress blog. I am using Namecheap now. But they are asking for $30 for SSL. So I have no choice but to switch. Can someone recommend me a decent and affordable cPanel shared hosting provider that allows using LetsEncrypt for SSL ? I plan to keep my domains with Namecheap for now.

I am open to suggestions and ideas. Thanks.

meetdilip You can use Cloudflare for SSL. Cloudflare is also a very good solution for DNS management. No need to waste money

Hello Arul. Thanks, I will add you soon.

        Thanks @Justoverclock

I am not sure whether a VPS will be the right one for something simple like a WordPress blog.

You should be able to host your website with Namecheap, and buy a domain from another provider.

meetdilip Since you will have a business with nameservers, bit domain service is sufficient where you can write the nameservers that Cloudflare will give you.

I have used Namecheap's shared hosting plans, they already come with free SSL's

Mark73 I am not sure why they are asking me to renew Positive SSL for $30.

I previously checked with them about the possibility of using LetsEncrypt which I was told was not possible. Thanks.

It is possible, I guess they just don't want you to think it is. As long as you have access to a control panel with a section titled "SSL/TLS" you can use almost any SSL certificate. After you get SSL working, I might call them out on it to (optional).

Their new offer says 50 free SSL. And that sounds good to me. Thanks all.
