Multiple Forums / Portals / Forum Rings fully or semi managed centrally

In many cases forums are isolated. But is it possible to add a feature where multiple forums can be centrally managed fully or partially.

In addition there can be related or connected forums who's links and top posts can be shared in a side column. In this case forum may also be managed independently but part of a ring. They can also be managed centrally with local admins having certain permissions and customisations.

FreeFlarum is the closest to this that I know. It is a collection of Flarum forums and there is some amount of centralised management.

What you are trying to do might work well if you use a social media script than a forum.

Flarum is perfectly capable of doing that, but it requires some development. What Flarum allows is setting up your own skeleton, which then boots the whole application. Modifying the skeleton (flarum/flarum) allows for complete customisation and multi tenancy.

Having worked on Laravel Tenancy (https://tenancy.dev) I know a thing or two about this from a technical standpoint, should you be interested in diving into this.

A similar concept as this was also discussed at XF commune, c'ept we'd always get told to shut mouth every time any of us everr actually tried seriously discussing—or even merely alluding to the topic.

Frankly I may have played far too much C&C as a kid...😂so I'm imagining instead of simply administering one singular fora instance from the Flarum™ ACP area, there'd be something like a Flarum™ Ūber ACP area accessible from the regular ACP via a C&C-esque HUD which opens out onto a SICK AS futuristic Flarum™ galaxy map....and...and....alright I'm gettin' a bit too carried away now...😄👍
