Hide tags from discussion list

Is there a CSS tricks to hide secondary tags from discussion list ?

You can try something like this:

.DiscussionList .TagsLabel .TagLabel:not(:first-child) {
    display: none;
}

There are some caveats:

It only works if you have only one primary tag set.
The rounded corners on the right side of the tags vanish. It should not be too hard to add them back via CSS.
If you have set child tags for the primary tags you might be better off with accessing them via .DiscussionList .TagLabel--child.

Would this code not work if 'Secondary Tags' exist?

(IE: 'Secondary Tags' _as opposed to~ nested 'Child Tags')

Coz I just tried it without success.
I've only got the one 'Primary Tag' with no nested 'Child Tags', as well as about a dozen 'Secondary Tags'.
