how to configure flarum from sub directory to subdomain?

i have flarum installed in domain.com/flarum

now i want to configure it for flarum.domain.com

i have updated the config.php to new subdomain
pointed subdomain to my server IP at CF and cleared cache

apache

The website is still not loading any suggestions?

If not done already, you should configure a new "host" for that subdomain ("VirtualHost" in Apache nomenclature, "server" in nginx nomenclature) on your server with its own webroot, and move Flarum files there.

The exact procedure will vary depending on the hosting company/operating system. It's usually as simple as one click and entering the new domain name in managed hostings, then you get a new folder on the server automatically.

now trying to configure .htaccess correctly

i moved assets folder into public folder

i have gone through docs it says to add these lines in htacess could you check, am i doing correctly?

Hari AllowOverride All doesn't go in .htaccess, it goes in your virtualhost configuration to enable the htaccess file. It's not always needed if your hosting is managed because most managed hostings enable that option out of the box.

If you are managing your virtualhosts manually, it can go below where your DocumentRoot is.
