Flarum has 3 permissions for editing by users:
Indefinitely
10 minutes
Until next post
Indefintely - is a non starter, because an upset user could remove every post and having to find and restore them individually would be a nightmare for a user with lots of posts. They can also simply edit each post to nothing, which is effectively a "delete forever permission"
10 Minutes - Works, but why not have a configurable time, or choices like 10 minutes 3 hours 1 day. !0 minutes isn't really long enough anyway. It should have been something like 12 hours or even 1 day.
Until Next Post - This simply doesn't work and allows a user to always edit and delete posts, in effect the same problem as using indefinitely and with the same "delete forever" potential
Does anyone else have these problems and from a forum perspective, these are core functions and I think a fundamental problem.
