Just adding a few thoughts:

Would it possible to use google map API as an alternative to mapbox? I am not sure would google map will be cheaper compare with mapbox.
Would you also considering adding a feature that user can add a map of location on their post, which will be essential if the website is listing rental information.

As the following screenshot shows there is a grey area when the map shows up.

ash3T this is related to the api itself, if you move the map around with the mouse will load fine everything.
obtaining a google api key is not easy, so i will not change this one for now. 😉

I have a similar issue to @ash3T but moving the map doesn't force it to load those particular sections. Plus, my location isn't centered/shown on the mini map before hover, though for some users it is. Any ideas please?

ash3T definitely possible, just need to know where is the best location for the map...

Justoverclock How about adding a button in the edting area, then user can add a map like adding an emoji.

How about give two options, both full address or Area Code/Zipcode will work
