010101 that's odd, I though titles could easily handle simple utf8. What is the value of the meta value in your head of the html?

If you don't see this, I guess it's yet another Safari bug.

It looks like double-encoding ' is encoded into ', and it is encoded again to &#039; (& encoded into &). One encoding is enough.

Looks like it is fixed for the next release. 👍

I think it's fixed on master, and will be pushed in a bugfix release soon.

It's indeed just the single quotes that are affected.

There's a different discussion where this was discussed previously, not sure where though. Maybe the release discussion.

EDIT: it's definitely fixed on master, David linked the commit in the GitHub issue.
