Good morning/evening all,
I have put together an updated Features paged based on the notes that you all provided. Notable changes include:
- Reorganizing content to feature video/animation of the actual user experience
- Upsizing all text
- Added wayfinding “pre-titles” to each section, which provides a more stabilizing effect to the overall “rag.”
The Videos A, B, and C will be very short (4-8 seconds) repeating animations that show relevant features as follows:
- Video A (Hero Section) - I’m not sure what I want to do with this one yet. I was hoping to get some ideas from the community. We want to show one or two actions here, maybe a moderation action and another.
- Video B (Modern UX) - Something simple and slick should be here, like opening a thread and replying to a post would be nice here. I looked around as many mobile interactions that exist in Flarum and feel like this may be the most accessible and simple to convey.
- Video C (Extensibility) - The process for a use enabling an extension in the Admin Dashboard. This one should be pretty quick to put together.
In regards to the Extensibility block, I was wondering if there were popular or common extension combinations (or as I phrased it, “recipes”) for creating different types of forums? I thought it might be a nice little bit of context for new users. If this makes no sense, I’ll take it off.
After all of the content is solidified, I can begin working on the animations.
