Is there any way to publish markdown articles in batches

katos I need to release the administrator or editor can batch release some articles, they all use the Markdown, but are stored in a single folder Markdown document, so I'm thinking is there any way to achieve this function, but I can't write extension language, so there is no way to write some good extension.

You could code a script with something like pyFlarum to automatically iterate over the files in the folder and post them as discussions, if that's something that you're looking for and you are familiar with Python. I could also do this for you, it seems simple to do.

SKevo I'm really sorry that BECAUSE I live in China, my network cannot access the websites of other regions recently, so I didn't reply you immediately!

With regard to Python you mentioned, I think it's a bit difficult for me, I just have some HTML and CSS
I tried to learn Python, but due to work reasons, I failed all the time. I'm sorry that I can't do a development with my ability
I figured I could patiently wait for someone with similar needs to develop an extension or script that I could use directly again.

If you wish to write a script in an other language than python, you could use the Flarum REST API directly: https://docs.flarum.org/rest-api/

I don't think there is any extension that enables any kind of batch-publishing from the Flarum web interface at the moment.

Maybe you could partially automate something with the Direct Links extension and the ?content= query string, so that you open all your files into the browser but still manually connect to Flarum and press submit. Though you might hit browser limits regarding URL length if you try inserting some very long content in the URL.

JerryYang you wouldn't need to know how to code. The requirements would be to just have Python installed, then you can run the script by 1 command

SKevo Hello, Hello, sorry. I was troubled by some work, which made me forget this post.
Luckily, I recalled it (it's not something to be proud of)
My local device is windows. After downloading the pyflarum-bulk-discussions you provided, I created some test markdown files in the discussions folder, and then executed the following code in powershell, but there was no change in my forum and no new posts were created.
The following is the command I changed. I confirm that the relevant fields I filled in are correct. Due to privacy, I have replaced the URL, user name and password with the relevant URL and user of the forum

python -m bulk_discussions -f https://test.flarum.org/ -u testuser -p testpassword

SKevo Due to my unstable state at the time, I am very sorry that it took me a year to express my gratitude to you. The Python code you wrote for me was excellent and it fulfilled my requirements very well!
Perhaps the community I came into contact with was not friendly. When you specifically wrote a script for me and posted it on GitHub, I was surprised. This made me feel the atmosphere of mutual assistance in the community, and no one used information differences to attack. This is very good!
