Ffuser1 Does not integrate well with mention.. Replying a guest post, does not handle the mention well. It shows codes of the mention instead of guest. Additionlaly, instead of displaying guest as author, anonymous would be better as display name.

jimmybonez danielunited I bought this plugin and I am also looking at solutions to this. I was thinking to have it display something like a userid like in this plugin https://discuss.flarum.org/d/29781-usercard-uid. That stays per user for the time they are online, similar to the way its done in the chans.

jimmybonez having a uniqueid rather than Guest will also solve the 'mention' issue wont it? Another workaround could be to take a randomized username i.e: https://usernamegenerator.com/random or custom nick per post/ session
RichardLo Hi, bought right now this extension but receive the follow error: Warning: the packages key 'convo-extensions/flarum-ext-guest-posting' doesn't match the name defined in the package metadata'kilowhat/flarum-ext-guest-posting' in repository https://extiverse.com/composer Also I dont see this extended "Everyone" Option in Permissions. Update: Found it! Had to activate the extension 😃
RichardLo OK, another question... now, if I post as an anonymous user, my "user name" is "[deleted]". How can I change it to e.g. "guest" ?

RichardLo Found a solution 🙂 With FoF Linguist I changed the string "core.lib.username.deleted_text". Now the name of an unknown user is different.
ernestdefoe I see this extension is no longer available on Extiverse. Is this on purpose or what? I was going to be getting it in the next few days.
