girefko the new discussion form cannot be submitted if nothing was typed in the field.

If you type only invisible characters in the input you can submit it. We might be able to do something special with spaces but there are many more invisible Unicode characters which make this very difficult to handle 100%.

Why would your users intentionally create discussions without content? Does it happen so much it requires an automated solution instead of just moderating the discussions?

You might be able to use Automoderator to flag those specific discussions for review if you don't want them to become public immediately.

I believe you are right - will give that a try as it only happened once so I don't think it's such a big issue. 🙂
