The installation was successful, I could find it under vendor, and I could also start it in the website management background, but it did not meet my expectation after it was started. I tried debugging, and found that vendor/shueke/daily-music/extend.php was not executed.

But in my local extension everything is fine

I was originally building the extension on mac and then scp to the ubuntu server

Then I installed it through composer and found that it did not take effect after startup.

Then I built one with flarum-cli init directly from ubuntu, then installed it through composer, and found that extend.php was not executed either

I don't think it's a problem with the extension itself, because even if I recreated a new extension with nothing in it, just a simple hello world, it still doesn't work

l25359423 inside composer.json the name is shuke/daily-music, but I cannot find this package on packagist: https://packagist.org/?query=shuke%2Fdaily-music. So using composer require shuke/daily-music should not do anything.

I think you understand it wrong, this package is indeed not in packagelist.org, this extension is on my server, I told it through the command composer composer config repositories.0 path "packages/*" in https://docs.flarum.org/extend/start#extension-packaging composer package in my local

composer really can't find this package in packagelist.org, but I found it locally, because I configured the local path in composer.json, so I installed it successfully

yes i can enable opcache, i found it in php.ini but i haven't used opcache much

you do see it inside the admin area of your flarum installation
you can enable the extension in said admin area
when refreshing the page the extension is still listed as enabled
nothing from the extend.php is executed?

l25359423 no, don't enable opcache for now. You would need to restart your apache/fpm whenever you make code changes.

Can you confirm your database has a table daily_music now? Which would imply the extension is enabled and running migrations properly?

Although the extension is successfully installed, it seems that my extension is not loaded. I don't quite understand the loading mechanism of the extension, so I don't know how to debug it. Is it related to the cache? Or am I missing a step?

I used the command flarum-cli init to generate the extension, and the configuration should be automatically generated. I just generated another extension automatically, and there is nothing in it. It’s just a simple framework. After I installed it through composer, I still didn’t execute extend.php. But I just found another installed extension, echo some text in extend.php, it can be output without clearing the cache, which makes me very puzzled
