The best way to upgrade from Beta 0.13 to the most recent 1.4?

Finally, the time has come to upgrade my relatively large community which is still on two years old Beta_0.13 version.

What would be the best way to approach it? Upgrade only one version at a time until I reach Build 21, or I can somehow execute it with one command?

Before anything, I plan to

uninstall all extensions which are not active anymore
set upgrade requirements in composer.json to *

You go directly from beta 13 to 1.3.1, just remember to follow the upgrade steps closely and to have backups incase anything goes wrong. https://docs.flarum.org/update#updating-from-beta-010-to-stable-v1-100

hrvoje_hr the upgrades from beta should be contained in 1.3.1 still. So just install, recreate the database and import your dump. Then run migrate. If this doesn't work follow the advice from SychO .

Honestly I would do a clean install of the latest version. Then replace the database with your own and run php flarum migrate. Copy over the assets directory into the public directory and clear cache php flarum cache:clear. Then one-by-one install extensions you need (or had, make sure to install successors though).

luceos that seems the easiest way as well. What about tables that changed their names, added columns, and other database stuff changed/updated through the versions? Or there was no such changes during the development over the last 9 releases?
