Save and Load Draft Automatically

An extension for flarum thatAutomatically save drafts in browser storage. And ask user to save drafts when they exit composer(require fof/drafts)

Features

• save/load drafts in browser storage automatically
• ask for saving drafts online automatically when exit(require fof/drafts)
• move cursor to end when minimize the composr (That will help users who have habbits to minimize and quote)

Installation

Install manually with composer:

composer require tohsakarat/save-and-load-draft-automatically

Updating

composer require tohsakarat/save-and-load-draft-automatically
php flarum cache:clear

Configuration

Enable the extension, a new tab will appear on the left hand side. This separate settings page allows you to further configure the extension.

Make sure you configure the upload permission on the permissions page as well.

tohsakarat this needs some modifications to adhere to the guidelines: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/4593-guidelines-for-posting-your-extension, for instance a link to github/composer. Also "Upload by tohsakarat" doesn't seem to match the actual subject of the extension?

Your repo seems to include a ZIP file with a copy of all the files already in the root. That ZIP is included in the Packagist download. It's not very big so no significant impact but you could remove it to reduce the size of your package.

Your license file mentions FriendsOfFlarum and Flagrow, but I don't see any code from either of those developers included. If there's indeed no code from them you can remove those lines and maybe add your own name to the license 😉

This one requires that one(fof/drafts) for the feature that asking users to save online draft when they exit.
In more time, this one will save your input every second locally. And you can load the local record to your composer automatically or manually through the toobar.

All the development and testing of the plugin is based on Chrome. Are you sure you have given the website the permission of local storage？

I reset site settings in Chrome and gave all permissions, same doesn't work.
I will try to find another laptop and try again.
