Install Flarum via Localhost Error

The issue

I just found out flarum, and try install it using localhost (xampp). Manage to follow the youtube guide tutorial. But when try to put all the details, forum titile, mysql database details and admin details I got this error cannot press the Install Flarum buton.

Something went wrong: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

djemyjenab you can try using 127.0.0.1 as the database host.

If that doesn't help, there might be something wrong with your database server. Check it's correctly turned on, that the credentials are correct and maybe whether there's any XAMPP update available. Do you have other apps on the same computer that use MySQL?

clarkwinkelmann I try using 127.0.0.1 but the problem still persist.

Maybe I need to try install Xampp & Composer using admin credentials in my Windows. I try 1st and will update the status here.

Is MySQL running when you open the Xampp control panel widget thing?

luceos yes, mysql in services status is running.. when I open xampp control panel.

may I suggest you WampServer instead? I have a laravel project that I'm working on and one day I had this error https://stackoverflow.com/q/18022809 while using xampp. I managed to solve that at first time but the same thing happened for the second time and I destroyed my database accidently, had to re-build it from zero. That's just one of the strange errors that I've encountered while using xampp, it's just not stable.
