Mentioning tags within posts

Darkle re-using exactly the same component as is visible on the tags listing page would, imo, be the better solution here.

luceos Yeah, that would be the best, so that component could work with the secondary tags?, on the tags page they are not shown like that for obvious reasons.

dragsugur I think this is out-of-scope of this proposal. I like the idea though and it might not be as hard to implement as linking posts is already possible now - just missing a nice UI. Please create a separate proposal describing the change and attaching the image.

I'm thinking that visually it would work best to drop the @ from the final display of a tag mention, at least it makes sense for the main use case I can think of - providing quick links to tags for other users:
