Sometimes in topics with high number of replies, it is good idea to provide a search bar among replies.
I just designed my idea by Photoshop and hope you understand what i mean.
For example in this screenshot, i'm in a topic of one extension with 102 replies and want to search between replies to find out if someone asked or answered something before, but search in whole forum is not good in this situation.

I also think that it is necessary to do some searching of the replies, especially as time develops, there are more and more replies in the forum, and it becomes difficult to read without screening.

    Searching system is old and almost less profit.

      This proposal is about "Search inside discussions", the requirements:

      • Once inside a discussion add a component that allows toggling to search within the discussion or on the whole community. This control has to be ON by default. The appearance of this component needs further discussion, I don't think the proposed design suits the Flarum design too well.
      • We need to create a new PostSearchSource that allows searching through posts. This source needs to be enabled instead of the global search sources when we toggled the "inside discussion search" state. I assume we might need to able to allow extending this list of sources, so take that into consideration!
      • The PostSearchSource needs to hit the posts endpoint and use the discussion filter to filter the response.
      • Target flarum/framework so that we integrate this into core.

      Anything I'm missing?

      Has there been any update to this? I think it would be extremely helpful, especially on this board. I would love to search inside specific extension discussions for keywords.
