We are closing in on the release of v1.6. QA is actually starting next week. For those following along, this implies we will target a release in the two weeks thereafter unless something is completely blocking us. v1.6 isn't as sizable as the previous releases but will still bring many fixes and even a few features!
I also have a roster announcement, as for several years @IanM has been a reliable participant in our ecosystem and in our team. Having joined the team for QA almost two years ago, he has actually contributed 60 commits to Flarum itself. With his experience of and knowledge with the source code and his continued contributions it only makes sense to formally invite him to become a core developer.
We're very excited for him to have accepted this invitation! 🥳 You will see this change in role reflected already.
Thank you so much Ian, for accepting and let's get some more crazy Flarum things out into the world 💪
