How to set flarum in my local window 10?

Right now I followed the step shown in https://docs.flarum.org/contributing#development-setup
This is what it looks like in the visual code.

I really want to contribute to flarum, this is going to be my first contribution.

The approach in setting up a local development environment differs and highly depends on your level of experience in development as well. For instance I purely work with virtualised containers with Windows 11 WSL2, this will not be a solution to a beginner though.

What I can recommend is using WAMP server next to your VSCode.

I hope others with actual windows experience can share more about their approach.

Also, your VScode image is missing?

luceos See basically I have seen one of the issues in the Flarum GitHub issue tab there the search icon was misplaced so I thought I can fix it. what should I do then?

identify where in the source this happens,
make the change locally and recompile javascript if it's a change to javascript
confirm it works
visit https://github.com/flarum/framework and click Fork
go into your directory called framework and add the fork as a remote git repository, usually this is done using the git command git remote add fork <your forked git url, eg git@github.com:mike001/framework.git>.
from your framework directory commit the changes and push them to the fork remote, not origin, eg git commit -am "fix: search icon is misplaced" && git push fork main
from your github fork page https://github.com/mike001/framework.git a button should appear to create a pull request or "contribute"

It's a bit more tedious, but this is necessary whenever you contribute to open source.
