I have updated 1.6, how can I set the web notification ?

meihuak it has the same requirements for notifications like if the post didn't have to be approved. So if you are not subscribed, mentioned, etc. then you don't get a notification. More information on exactly what has happened would be helpful.

An update has been added for version 1.6.
Even though posts require approval to show up, when you reply to someone's post, they can be notified when the reply is approved.

But now I'm testing it in my forums and it still doesn't work.

My forum needs approval to display replies. But when I clicked "reply" to the post and approved the reply, the person was not notified

I have tested In my forum.

I use an user who is not admin account to reply someone's post, then I go to ask him, he do not get a notification

meihuak I have just retested this and can confirm it works perfectly. Maybe as previously stated you can describe exactly what you do and what you expect to happen.

In normal mode, there is no need to follow this discussion, I will also be notified if someone replies to my post.

I want to be notified normally also when flarum is set to have to review to approve discussions and posts

meihuak I can confirm that this seems not to work as expected. It works when a discussion is followed, but there is no notification for the reply to a discussion when the post gets approved. I have created an issue on GitHub for this: flarum/framework3687

Oh you're specifically referring to reply notifications of your own posts, which is the mentions extension which didn't have the same change made in the bounty fix as it wasn't well communicated.

I can confirm that this seems not to work as expected. It works when a discussion is followed, but there is no notification for the reply to a discussion when the post gets approved. I have created an issue on GitHub for this:

meihuak please do not create multiple discussions on the same issue. This only takes away the time from staff to handle those requests. As you can follow on GitHub this seems to be out of scope for the original bounty request. So it's not just a bug that needs fixing but actually a feature that needs to be added. You can follow the progress on GitHub.
