Issue with mentions

Hi,

I have just installed Flarum and am seeing an issue with the mentions - users with single word names e.g. MikeBanim seem to work fine, but users with spaces (e.g. Mike Banim) just appear as regular text after you mention them (they appear in the dropdown after you @, but once you select them they are regular text and they don't get a notification).

I have a user whose username starts with @ also, and the mention doesn't work for him in the same way.

MikeBanim did you migrate from different software? You should be able to mention all users - even when the Nicknames extension is installed - with their username. Usernames do not allow blanks, etc. Please also follow the troubleshooting guide and provide the information mentioned if you continue to have problems.

Ah, I did not know that, thanks. I migrated across from MyBB yes.

MikeBanim I think you will have to fix the usernames otherwise, you will continue to have problems. Ultimately, this issue could have been mitigated in the migration process. It would be best if you used the names with blanks as Nicknames rather then Usernames.

Thanks, it was only a test run migration so I will fix the usernames in the final migration and look into nicknames. Appreciate the responses.
